A newly hatched sandpiper chick is being lured by it's mother to venture from the safety of it's sandy burrow and to take to the shoreline to find some lunch. Tempted, it finally sets forth across the sand but it's still awaiting feeding. Nope, says she - time to fend for yoursel…
