Graduate student Hryhoriy Yarchuk, strives to make a career and get married, using adaptability, cunning, intrigue and betrayal as a life strategy. With the help of an “assistant,” he quickly masters the space of the institute and obtains a position, but, guided by the principle of fierce personal struggle, he gradually destroys all human ties.
