Directing
Alvin Ganzer was an American film and television director whose career spanned several decades. He began his career at Paramount Pictures in 1932, working in the casting department before transitioning to roles as an assistant and second unit director on numerous feature films from 1934 through 1954. Ganzer's first directorial feature film credit was for The Girls of Pleasure Island (1953), stepping in after the original director fell ill. From 1954 to 1979, he directed episodes for various television series, including The Twilight Zone, Route 66, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., and Lost in Space. His work contributed significantly to the development of American television during its formative years.
