Theatrical credits include Les Miserables at the Hollywood Bowl, Tobacco Road at the La Jolla Playhouse, Pride and Prejudice at South Coast Rep, Gallery Secrets with Chalk Rep, A Midsummer Nights Dream at Portland Center Stage, Loves and Hours at Pennsylvania Centre Stage, The Glass Menagerie with Ensemble Santa Barbara andThe Heliotropic Man a one-man clown piece that Joel co-created. Joel received his MFA in Acting from UC San Diego and his BA in Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University. He is a proud member of Actors Equity. Joel’s TV work includes, New Girl, The Newsroom, Vegas, The Young and the Restless, NBC/Universal web series In Gayle We Trust and the upcoming HBO Pilot The Brink.
