Pittsburgh-based artist and filmmaker Kate Myers received her BFA with minors in animation, special effects, and film from Carnegie Mellon’s School of Art. Her work is focused on storytelling through film and special effects— utilizing genre conventions found in horror and science fiction to explore mutation and mortality. Myers is one half of the indie comic duo Full Tilt and a member of Just a Head Productions.
