Writing
Born in Istanbul, Kerime Nadir graduated from Saint Joseph High School. After she started writing poetry, her first stories were published in magazines such as Servet-i Fünun, Uyanış, Yarımay. His prose works were published in Aydabir, Yedigün and Hayat magazines. The subjects of Nadir, who wrote more than 40 novels, were generally about broken loves. Around 30 of her works were adapted into screenplays and turned into movies. In addition to being criticized for "continuing her writing career in her own world, turning her back on society and facts"; the author has also been the target of positive comments about instilling a love of reading; she stayed at Maçka Palas for many years. Nadir's novels, some of which have been translated into foreign languages, have sold more than 5 million copies.
