Lakis Michaelides (Thessaloniki, 1932 - Athens, 22 March 2010) was a Greek playwright. He was a graduate of the Law School, while he also studied Economics, as well as theater art at the Macedonian Conservatory. He initially worked in the field of advertising, before turning completely to writing. He has left more than 100 scripts for works that were either shown in cinema or played by various theater stages, including many urban ethnography and inspections. His novel Fortounakides and Vrontakides is particularly popular. He was president of the Society of Greek Playwrights for many years.
