Ludwik Starski (March 1, 1903 – February 29, 1984) was an author of film scripts, stage lyrics, and songs. He made his debut in 1925 with the vaudeville "Halo, Łodzianki," performed at the Municipal Theatre in Łódź, and subsequently collaborated with entertainment theatres in Warsaw. After the war, he wrote scripts for the Warsaw theatre "Syrena." From 1948-49, he headed the "Warszawa" Film Studio, and from 1955-63, he directed the "Iluzjon" Film Studio. Father of set designer Allan Starski.
