Luna Blanco

Directing

Visual artist and experimental filmmaker based between Madrid and Barcelona, Spain. Her practice explores the materiality of digital images, with a particular focus on montage and themes surrounding femininity and womanhood. Drawing on philosophy, phenomenology, and contemporary film theory, her work investigates the relationship between haptic images and the film experience as a form of aesthetic contemplation. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master's degree in Film Studies from Pompeu Fabra University. She currently works alongside LAV (Madrid's experimental audiovisual laboratory).
