Acting
Robert Kerbeck is an American actor, writer, and corporate spy known for his diverse career in entertainment and espionage. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a theater degree, Kerbeck initially sought to make it as an actor in New York City. He appeared in TV series such as ER, Melrose Place, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. However, to support himself, he began working as a corporate spy, specializing in social engineering or "rusing"—creating personas and using deception to extract valuable information from competitors. His espionage work was lucrative, earning him up to millions per year. Kerbeck is also an award-winning writer, authoring a true crime memoir titled "RUSE: Lying the American Dream from Hollywood to Wall Street," which details his experiences in corporate espionage along with his Hollywood career and personal life. He is a lifetime member of The Actors Studio and has hosted the Soho House Lit Salon series. His memoir and story reveal a compelling blend of acting talent and high-stakes deception.
