Acting
Born September 1, 1938 in Boston, Massachusetts, Virginia Aldridge came to Los Angeles when she was eight years old. She started studying the ballet at 12, and, after attending Van Nuys High School, danced professionally for two years. Deciding that she was not completely exploring her talents, Aldridge turned to acting and, at 19, began work at Cory's Hollywood Repertoire school. After only one year of training, Aldridge did her first part on the 'Ozzie and Harriet' television show, where she appeared a number of times. Often seen in such popular series as 'Cheyenne,' Zane Grey Theatre,' 'Wagon Train,' 'Matinee Theatre' and 'Father Knows Best,' her most important role to date is as the female lead opposite Tom Pittman in 'High School Big Shot.'
